Doing managed link building requires tools that control every single link. CEMPER.COM developed four tools that enable next level link building.
Linkorder / Project Management Tool
The first tool that is necessary to provide a basis for managed link building is a tool that keeps track of all link orders. In this tool we can enter all necessary information given by a client – the keywords and the URLs that have to be linked, the number of links requested, the duration of the link building proejct and the link builders that are responsible for the project. The status of this goal changes according to how much time is left till the order has to be submitted from “active”, to “overdue soon” and to “overdue”. If all links are done, then the stats change to “to review” and all links are checked one more time. If the customer is satisfied with the work, the goal status changes to “done”
From this tool we can directly navigate to all other tools, for example we can go directly from one keyword requested by a client to the SERP Research Tool and we can start searching without entering anything as this tool did already everything for us. Or we can jump to the Workflow where we can see which link was already made, who built this link and when and if this link is still online. From there we can directly go to the Anchortext report where we can see which keywords have already been linked how many times and in which timeframe.
SERP Research
Do you like searching through Google? For some quick checks it can be really fun, but searching for specific pages which might be on position 62 or even 189 it can be a real pain. Which means it is a waste of time working through SERPs, as you can not mark all those you already saw and defined as not relevant, worked on but rejected or simply linked in.
Search with our SERP research tool is really easy. It is a collaborative tool, used by various link builders that save their judgments in a central database to avoid that a certain site has to be seen more than one time unless it we decide so. Everything necessary to know can be seen at a time: a domain marked as useless is not on the list at all, next to the result you can see if there is already a link from you on this site and if so which one. On top of that you are able to crawl all important stats for one domain or you can crawl one specific status e.g. Google Page Rank for all shown results. So it does not just help us to search and manage our links, it boosts our research performance and it enables us to do searches that would not be possible in the common way.
We use our SERP research tool for the managed link building plans and the persona building service.
In the picture you see how one result of our SERP research tool looks like. It is a combined search and CEMPER.COM is already result number 5 is already tagged as commercial the keywords used for this search was “internet marketing consultant company” and the users Juan and Sabine already worked on the site. The last circle you can see is the status Juice for this specific result for this search and you can as well see the status Page Rank.
The following list is made of usual search result next to it you have tags to either declare this result as spam, nofollow or commercial. The next section shows which keywords where used for this search, than you see that the users and then you see all stats for ever result.
Workflow
To manage our links we have additionally to the SERP research tool the Workflow.
To get all important data in the workflow we use a tool called Got A Link. When a link is placed we enter the URL where the link is placed with which persona and to which site it links. In the workflow will show then Who placed, When, Which link on Which site. More over we can check the status of each link. Sometimes DoFollow links change to NoFollow links or they get removed at all. If this happens our amazing sends an email to the user that entered the link and informs him/her about the changed status.
We have as well a counter that enables us to see if there is already a page on that domain, if yes if its for the same client by the same persona or if it is for a different client. That way we can for example reuse personas that we created already and work with on persona for one client over a longer period of time.
Another great feature of this tool is that we can enter a certain amount that is paid for a link, for which period of time and where the payment has to be sent to.
Anchortext Report

In the Anchortext Report we can keep track of all anchors (keywords) that we used to link to a certain page. It is sorted by month and we can filter client, project, goals, anchors and domains that we linked from or that we linked to. This feature was design to keep the anchors as natural as possible and not to link one exact same keyword to the same domain more than one or two times.
